5:00 p.m. – Kittitas County, WA -08/27/2015 – Sheriff’s Deputies and Local Fire fighters have responded to the Vantage area for a fire on the Yakima Training Center.
Deputies are making the following evacuation notices in the Vantage area; Level I from Vantage proper to the State Park on Huntzinger Road. Level II south of the State Park, to include Auvil. Area Command has been established and the County and Military are working together in support of the firefighting efforts. Cause of the fire has not been determined.
