The Cle Elum Police Department is hosting 2019 National Night Out on Tuesday August 6th at Wye Park. National Night Out is a National event which occurs annually on the first Tuesday of August and is an annual community-building event that promotes first responder-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and first responders while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring first responders and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Wye Park is located in the 300 block of West First Street in Cle Elum, we plan on starting at 5PM. Scheduled to participate is the Cle Elum Police Department, Upper Kittitas County Medic One, Roslyn Fire Department, and United States Forest Service with a possible special appearance by Smokey Bear (who’s celebrating his 75th anniversary of preventing wildfires.)
All are invited. CEPD and UKC Medic One will be providing burgers. Hope to see you there!
