On Saturday, November 15, we’re going back in time to the era when Barn Dances were held to bring rural communities together for an evening of music, dancing and socializing. Lem Pratt and the Cascade Rangers will be on stage at the Grange with tunes going back to the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s when radio stations across the country featured country and western music artists such as Bob Wills, The Sons of the Pioneers and Johnny Cash. This five piece band will remind us of the old-time country music and western swing many of us remember from our youth. Doors open at 6:30 pm for an Appetizer and Dessert Potluck and the Band comes on stage at 7:00 pm. Admission is $7, kids under 12 are free and don’t forget to bring an appetizer or dessert to share. This is a family-oriented event and one that you’re sure to enjoy. The Hall is located at 1361 Ballard Hill Rd, Cle Elum, Washington. Take SR970 to Teanaway Rd, go right at Ballard Hill Rd, the Grange will be on your left.
