The annual Manastash Metric Bike Ride will be held on October 4 with approximately 250 riders participating from three states. The century and half century ride will begin in Ellensburg, travel on country roads, down Hwy 10, along the Yakima River and along county roads in Kittitas County between Ellensburg and Cle Elum.
Motorists are asked to watch out for the riders especially along Hwy 10 between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm. Please also note that the Dike Road leading into Irene Reinhart Park, Ellensburg will be closed to cars 7:00am to 11:00 am Saturday morning, October 4.
This is a fund raiser for the local RSVP and Volunteer Center. Registration is currently being accepted at the office and riders may also sign up the day of the ride at 7:30am at Mt. Stuart Elementary School in Ellensburg. Free BBQ for all participants at the end of their ride.
Registration fee: $50.00 single, $60.00 tandem
