Join Central’s Center for Diversity and Social Justice as they recognize and honor several members of the Central community at the 14th annual Women’s Achievement Celebration awards banquet Wednesday April 11 at 6 p.m. in the Sue Lombard Dining Hall. Tickets include a catered buffet dinner and cost $10 for CWU students with ID $16 for general admission and can be purchased at www.cwu.edu/~wildcattickets or at the Wildcat Shop and Welcome Center. Semi-formal attire is recommended. The following people will be recognized for their hard work and dedication to women’s empowerment. Recipients of the Women’s Achievement Award are Dr. Marji Morgan College of Arts and Humanities dean Dr. Louis Breedlove associate professor of communications and Andrea Easlick Health Education coordinator/Sexual Assault Response coordinator. The Keys to Success Award will recognize Aurther Manjarrez academic advisor for Student Support Services and TRiO. Finally the recipients of the Student Achievement Awards are Kimberly Hitchcock CWU Public Health student and Kittitas County Public Health volunteer and Sheila Anna Jones CWU Early Childhood Education and Sociology double major and Center for Diversity and Social Justice office assistant/programmer.
