Forest Service to Provide Hiring Information for Summer Job Applicants

The Naches Ranger District will be providing opportunities for summer job applicants to meet with District employees to assist those interested in obtaining summer employment with the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.  These opportunities will be January 8th and 9th, 2015 from 3:00pm to 6:00 pm at the Naches Ranger Station in Naches, Washington.  Staff will be on hand to explain the hiring process to interested applicants.  Interested applicants who are unable to come to the office during those hours will also be able to call and speak with an employee during these times.  Information about summer employment for fire related positions will be available from Brad Wagner at 509-653-1479.

People planning to apply for 2015 seasonal jobs on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest need to submit job applications online between January 6 and January 12, 2015.

Approximately 50 temporary fire-related positions will be filled this summer on the Okanogan-Wenatchee NF.  Positions in timber, recreation, botany, range, wildlife and other programs may also be available.
