Uncap those ink pens and warm up those vocal cords because a day full of fun and games in support of cancer treatment and research is right around the corner. Forget Me Not Bingo, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, will take place on Friday, Feb. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Adult Activity Center at 506 Pine St. The event is open to everyone and local businesses will be donating prizes to be handed out to bingo winners. Free transportation will be available to students, provided they arrive at the SURC Pit before the event by 10:30 a.m. There will also be free refreshments available for all players.
CWU students who wish to attend will need to register in person by stopping by the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) office in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) room 256 prior to the event. In addition, CWU students who wish to take advantage of free transportation to the event will also need to fill out a Liability Waiver Form in person at the CLCE prior to being transported.
For all non-students, there is no registration, but a mandatory $5 entry donation is required to play. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. CWU students are not required to donate but are welcome to if they wish.
