Come out to the Grange Saturday, April 13 and join us in Celebrating Local Youth, Agriculture and Business with a Farm to Table Dinner featuring a traditional pig roast with all the trimmings. We want to thank Frank Bacon at Bacon’s Homegrown Pork in Ellensburg for providing the hog which will be slow-roasted by James Jones at Smokey’s Bar-B-Que in South Cle Elum. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.
We are pleased to welcome Tom Dent, our State Representative for the 13th district, and Judy Hossner, our Washington State Grange representative for Washington Agriculture in the Classroom, as keynote speakers. We will also hear from our 2018 scholarship recipients during the dinner. Our Grange Ladies are providing baked goods to raffle off, tickets will be sold by our 2018 recipients. You could go home with a delicious apple pie or yummy cheesecake!
Every year we raise money for Grange scholarships for Kittitas County students. Every penny raised goes to the Scholarship Fund! Tickets are $20 and are available by calling me at 509-304-5313 or 509-857-2580 or reply back to me with the number of tickets you would like to reserve along with your contact information. We need to pre-sale tickets as space is limited at the Grange.
