With it’s third installment the Hispanic Heritage Month One Earth: This Much We Know is True film series and the Center for Latino(a) and Latin American Studies (CLLAS) breaks into the realm of suspense and mystery with “La coasecha” translated as “The Harvest” Tuesday Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. in Dean Hall room 104 with CAMP staff Miriam Bocchetti and Mayra Nambo presenting. This event is free and open to the public. Every year there are more than 400000 American children torn away from their friends schools and homes to pick the food we all eat. “La cosecha” profiles Zulema Perla and Victor migrant farm workers who sacrificed their own childhoods to help their families survive.
