The family of Ian Eckles, who went missing in Kittitas County a year ago, are honoring him by holding a baked (and store bought) goods sale to raise money for Kittitas County Search and Rescue.
The sale takes place on May 16th at the Cle Elum Safeway overflow parking area at about 9 am.
“Please come talk to us about what you love about the area, how you recreate there, and feel free to ask us any questions you may have. With your donation you can take home some Krispy Kreme donuts, Costco treats, home-baked goodies, a memorial rock that we made for Ian, or all of the above! We don’t have a way to take credit cards, but I have PayPal and Zelle and will be the one writing the final check to S&R (you are more than welcome to write a check to them as well.) I am excited to honor my brother on the day he came to your area 1 year ago, talk to all that come, and raise money for a good cause! Hope to see you there.” – Stephanie Eckles
