High Country Artists will be hosting the PIONEER
QUEENS’ TEA on July 1st, immediately following the
Cle Elum Parade. Join us at the Carpenter Museum for a bite of
refreshments and a tour of our lovely museum!
Following the Tea, at 1:00 PM, we’re very excited to present the
SWIFTWATER ENSEMBLE who will
be performing an acapella rendition of favorite Doo-Wap hits from
the 1950s era.
On display at the museum for the month of July is a fabulous new
collection of LOCALLY MADE QUILTS,
which are featured in every room of the house. Also on display are
the exquisite PAINTINGS by our
High Country Artist men – Joe Ferry, Jim Schleis and Gerald
All this, plus a newly added HISTORY
DISPLAY on the 3rd floor focusing on DAIRY,
LOGGING, and RAILROADS in the Upper Kittitas County.
So much fun happening at the Museum! You
don’t want to miss it! We’re open Fridays, Saturdays, and
Sundays, Noon to 4:00. Come visit!
