In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Center for Diversity and Social Justice (CDSJ) presents “Frida,” a biographical film of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, who channeled the pain of a crippling injury and her turbulent marriage into her work. This event is free and open to the public.
“Frida” is the second installment of the 2015 Latin American Film Series and will be screened Thursday, Oct. 29 at 6 p.m. in Black Hall room 151. An introduction by Art Department senior lecturer Joan Cawley-Crane will precede the film.
