In the ongoing effort to achieve sustainability, the CWU Cultural and Environmental Resource Management Association (CERMA) club and the Ellensburg Vegetarian Society are leading the charge with a screening of “Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret” Saturday, April 18 at 6 p.m. in the Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Theatre. The event is free and open to the public.

Co-directed by Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn, this eye-opening 2014 documentary follows the journey of an aspiring environmentalist as he seeks to understand pressing environmental issues and the true path to achieve sustainability. Along the way, he discovers problems in the factory farming practices in the United States.
