Make It and Take It! Cat Shelters

Hi KCFOA Supporters:

On November 16th, KCFOA will be hosting our wildly popular “Make it and take it Cold Weather Cat Shelter” event at Old Mill.

Make your own cold weather cat shelter to take home with you! These shelters are great for feral, stray, and outdoor cats during the bitter winter months. We are offering this much anticipated event in partnership with Old Mill Country Store!
KCFOA is requesting a $20 donation for each cat shelter you make-and-take to help our nonprofit offset the cost of supplies..
KCFOA will provide everything you need to make the shelters. Supplies are first-come, first-serve. Come find us outside the front doors of Old Mill Country Store in from 9 to noon. See you there!

KCFOA is hoping to provide supplies for 30-50 cat shelters. We need your help collecting Styrofoam coolers to make this even a success. The coolers don’t have any specifications, except they must be large enough for at least one adult cat to

fit inside. No small square ones, please. See example picture below:

If you have Styrofoam coolers to donate, please send us an email at kcfoa2002@gmail.com <mailto:kcfoa2002@gmail.com>. Or, this would be a great opportunity to reach out to friends and family to collect some for KCFOA. They will be put to good use helping community cats survive the upcoming winter months throughout Kittitas County.
