Low Pressure Promotions, promoter of the world’s 2nd largest cyclocross series, MFG Cyclocross, is pleased to announce a new event, MFG Nine2Five presented by BMC. This new event to the Washington mountain bike race calendar will be a 8-hour mountain bike race on Saturday, July 26th, 2014 in Roslyn, WA offering categories for solo riders as well as two and three person teams.
“We are really excited to take our approach and atmosphere from cyclocross and apply it to a mountain bike race,” said MFG Cyclocross co-founder Terry Buchanan. “The 7-mile course will provide plenty of up, down, and around the sunny hills of Roslyn. Whether beginning preparations for cyclocross, or tuning up for the heart of the mountain bike season, there is a solo, 2-person, or 3-person category for nearly every rider,” Buchanan said.
BMC is the presenting sponsor of the event and is providing a raffle for two of the newly released Trail Fox series of bicycles. “We are really excited to partner with Low Pressure Promotions for this event and feel we have a relevant and modern line of mountain bikes to showcase to the Northwest market,” said BMC General Manager Chris McLaren.
Registration for the MFG Nine2Five p/b BMC is now open on BikeReg.com. The event is limited to 500 participants. Details for the event can be found atmfgcyclocross.com/mfgnine2five. The following categories will be offered for the event:
