Program Leader training to be offered in EllensburgRSVP and Volunteer Center of Kittitas County will be hosting a free training for those interested in becoming trained and certified as an S.A.I.L. Stay Active and Independent for Life exercise instructor. The training is provided for those who have backgrounds in exercise science Yoga physical education physical therapy or in the nursing or medical field. Individuals who successfully complete this training will be able to conduct S.A.I.L. classes through RSVP and the Volunteer Center for older adults in Kittitas County.The training is being provided by the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and Aging and Long Term Support Administration (ALTSA). The training is being held on January 23 at Rosewood Community Center in Ellensburg from 8am until 5pm. Pre-registration is required prior to the training.
