Registration is now open for The Wild Run–which will be held on Sunday August 30th and begins at 9:30AM. The Wild Run is a point-to-point race that starts in Roslyn’s historic downtown and quickly picks-up the Coal Mines Trail. The wind this time of year would typically be at our backs while the course rolls along a gentle downhill. So, with mild morning temperatures along a shaded course, a possible tailwind and gradual downhill, everything favors a fast, fun race. The Wild Run should be a great scenic course to try for your personal-best time! The post-race gathering and awards presentation will be held at the Roslyn Yard and we’ll be finishing up just as the Farmer’s Market opens on the same block, and live music begins! Come join us for a fun day!
Volunteers are being sought to help with this event. Your help of any kind is sincerely appreciated, but we particularly want to encourage cosplay or costumed volunteers and actors and also photographers. All volunteers and race participants will receive a tie-dye Wild Run t-shirt–which promises to be an absolutely unique addition to your collection!
