Thirty Mile Fire 20th Anniversary Commemorative Ceremony at Roslyn’s Mount Olivet Cemetery

Friends, family, and working associates plan to commemorate U.S. Forest Service firefighters lost in the 2001 Thirty Mile Fire on Saturday, July 10, starting at 4:30 p.m. Location: Roslyn’s Mount Olivet Cemetery.
This is the 20th anniversary of a wildfire that took the lives of Roslyn’s Tom Craven, son of Virginia and William Craven, Devin Weaver, Karen Fitzpatrick, and Jessica Johnson.

Reception with light refreshments hosted by the Roslyn Downtown Association.

Welcome from Corrine and William Craven.
~ 5:05pm ~
Presentation of the Flag, Boy Scout Troop 488, National Anthem with Josephine Howell, and benediction with Kelly Clift.
~ 5:15pm ~
Speakers to include Kittitas County Commissioner Laura Osiadacz, State Rep. Tom Dent, Wildland Firefighter Foundation Executive Director Vicki Manor, Naches Ranger District Fire Management Officer Jason Emhoff and KC Craven.

Artwork presented by Marlon Batin and Jason Emhoff, Moment of Silence with KC Craven, presentation of Wreaths Corrine Craven, William Craven, Tomisha Craven and T-Shaun Craven.

Sendoff with KC Craven.
❖ After the event there will be a reception at Roslyn Brewery in downtown Roslyn featuring a cash bar, live band and light snacks.
