DESCRIPTION:A social gathering for people with Alzheimer’s or other dementias and their family\, friends\, or caregivers. Hosted by a Dementia Friend every 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month\, the Memory Cafe’ will offer a safe\, relaxed and stigma free environment to socialize\, connect with others\, and enjoy activities. While the Memory Cafe is a community based opportunity to find companionship and support\, it is not a form of respite or adult day care. This program is free and open to all community members.
