DESCRIPTION:Yakima Valley College’s Department of Visual Arts will host a Pottery and Art Sale on Thursday\, November 20\, from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the lobby of Palmer Martin Hall\, Building #20. \nThe sale features functional and sculptural work and prints created by YVC students and faculty over the past several quarters\, including bowls\, mugs\, pitchers\, planters\, and odds and ends. Many pieces are priced below $10 and are suitable gifts for many occasions. Payment can be made in the form of cash\, check or credit/debit cards. \nParking: Free parking <https://www.yvcc.edu/services/parking/> is available in Visitor Parking\, Lot C off of 16th Ave\, or in Student Parking\, Lot K off of S. 15th Avenue and Prasch Ave or Lot I off of S. 16th Avenue. \nAll proceeds support YVC’s Art Department. Get there early for a hands-on jewelry making demo with the musicians 1-2:30pm! \nIn the PUNCH Gallery\, join us for the continuation of “Thorpsgiving!” A month-long silent auction and membership drive to support arts and cultural programming at PUNCH. \nArt\, music\, beer and community! \nJoin us for this free\, all-ages event at Punch Projects in Thorp\, Washington. \n12-5pm Gallery Open\n1-2:30pm Jewelry Making Demo\n3-5pm Live Music with “Notable Exceptions” \nHave you been to PUNCH to check out one or more of our exhibitions that rotate monthly in our gallery space? We believe that art should be free\, inclusive and open to all\, and that a small town can be an incredible incubator for cultural experiences like these. This is what we celebrate and why we’re asking for your help to keep this cultural celebration going! We have three ways you can support us this November and help raise funds to cover rent\, utilities and programming in 2026 – become a member\, bid on some sweet artwork and other cool stuff in the month-long silent auction\, or simply drop some cold\, hard cash in the money jar. \nNot to mention\, we’ve got beverages and snacks in the Punch Snack Bar. \nPlan to arrive early for a good seat!
