SUMMARY:LIve at PUNCH! "Pannonica" and "Dick Rossetti & Bulk Male"
DESCRIPTION:Open 12-5pm Saturday\, June 6 with “Pannonica” and “Dick Rossetti & Bulk Male” playing pop-punk and garage rock on the Punch Stage 3-5pm. In the Punch Gallery\, join us for the opening of the PUNCH “Members Exhibition” featuring a large selection of multi-disciplinary works from dozens of artists.\n\nAbout the Exhibition\n\nThis June we present our annual showcase of works by member artists who have helped make PUNCH possible. As an all-volunteer operation\, offering memberships enables us to continue art and music programming throughout the calendar year. So\, pop on in this month for a fantastic survey of work by our supportive members. This annual show is always diverse\, delightful and full of surprises.\n\nFor starters there’s a wolf utopia paint-by-numbers\, a Kool-Aid coleoptera and a cat planter that doubles as a perfect Twinkie tray. There are portraits of at least one evolutionary father-figure\, along with works that reveal some of his wildest premonitions. Contemplate the macaroni mandala or have a quiet moment w/ any one of the Madonna and child motifs curiously and coincidently explored in this show. There are collaged collages\, abstract abstractions and book art for all the bibliophiles. Feast your eyes on metal art that simply rocks and a sculpture that is so metal that it would make Rob Halford blush. And as a perfect tie-in to the soon-to-be-transformed PUNCH dive bar\, we have numerous water-themed works including an unreliable life preserver and action painting of cliff jumping shenanigans sure to invoke stomach butterflies.\n\nNot to mention\, we’ve got beverages and snacks in the Punch Snack Bar.\n\nPlan to arrive early for a good seat!\n\nJoin us for this free\, all-ages event at Punch Projects in Thorp\, Washington.

DESCRIPTION:Open 12-5pm Saturday with “BLACK LAND / RED LAND” an exhibition of art and poetry curated by Margot Massey & David Coppin Lanegan in the Punch Gallery. With live performances on the Punch Stage 3-5pm.\n\nThis April\, PUNCH handed the gallery space over to guest curators Margot Massey and David Coppin Lanegan for an exhibition that pairs visual art with written poems.\n\n“BLACK LAND/RED LAND” invites the viewers to experience the natural alchemy between two given forms of art created separately from one another.\n\n“Al-kimiyaʾ is the Arabic word for ALCHEMY. SUMMARY:"BLACK LAND / RED LAND" Exhibition of Art & Poetry
It traces to the ancient Egyptian word kmt\, simultaneously meaning ‘Egypt’ and…BLACK LAND. The nation of Egypt identified so heavily with the dark\, fertile soil of the Nile Delta\, that kmt also\, in the ancient Egyptian context\, implies a contrast to the empire’s surrounding desert\, beyond the two literal meanings. Full of high strangeness\, sand demons and demigods\, this wasteland was called ‘deshret’\, or…RED LAND.”\n\nMargot Massey is a figurative artist based in Eastern Washington. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art at Central Washington University. Massey has exhibited her work at the New York Academy of Art SURP Exhibition (2025)\, the Sarah Spurgeon Gallery for the INTERSTATE: Where I-90 meets I-82 (2025)\, and a Gallery One exhibition in March 2025.\n@margotmasseyart\n\nDavid Coppin Lanegan is a writer and singer from Central Washington\, currently serving as the Inland Poetry’s Poet Laureate\, and performing with The Black Velvet Band. His work appears in the Heartworm Reader No. 2. His zine Tears For Achilles was published by Heartworm in 2025\, and his debut collection Devotional (2024)\, and most recent zine Riverman (2025)\, were published by Snake Music.\n@davidcoppinlanegan\n\nNot to mention\, we’ve got beverages and snacks in the Punch Snack Bar.\n\nPlan to arrive early for a good seat!\n\nJoin us for this free\, all-ages event at Punch Projects in Thorp\, Washington.\n____________________ \nUpcoming Events on the PUNCH Stage \n4/04: The Purrs\n(psych rock) and\nWolfpack Serenade\n(relaxed indie)\n\n4/11: Crone\n(new americana)\n\n4/18: Danbert Nobacon\n(punk-folk)\n\n4/25:  Fern Spores\n(psychedelic folk-rock)

DESCRIPTION:Open 12-5pm Saturday with “From the Pit” an exhibition of photographs by Brenden Fuller in the Punch Gallery and a live performance on the Punch Stage 3-5pm.\n\nOriginally from Spokane\, Brenden Fuller is now an Ellensburg local who has made a name for himself as a photographer of live music performances. He documents local and regional underground music scenes where his images capture the frenetic energy\, charisma\, attitude and angst that is on full display at these live shows.\n\nFuller started this photographic exploration in April of 2023\, where he documented the house venue scene of Seattle and eventually made his way to photographing larger acts like Mac DeMarco\, Built to Spill\, Japanese Breakfast\, Zookraught and many more. Gaining inspiration from historical photographers such as Charles Peterson (who photographed Nirvana) and Danny Clinch (Pearl Jam)\, and tour photographers such as Pooneh Ghana (DJO) and Travis Trautt (Ekkstacy).\n\nFuller’s photos have garnered attention on social media channels\, and he is excited to share his photography with the public in print form for the first time\, as “From the Pit” represents his gallery debut. Fuller’s images capture the magical\, intoxicating moments of live performances\, and in doing so\, they effectively showcase exactly what makes music so incredibly exciting and deeply meaningful to the fans.\n\nNot to mention\, we’ve got beverages and snacks in the Punch Snack Bar.\n\nPlan to arrive early for a good seat!\n\nJoin us for this free\, all-ages event at Punch Projects in Thorp\, Washington.\n\nUpcoming Events on the PUNCH Stage\n\n3/07:\nNothingland\n(heavy indie)\nThe Nightmares\n(punk)\n\n3/14: Little H Collective\n(ambient/experimental guitar and loops)\n\n3/21:\nGrave Neighbors\n(emotional hardcore)\nSunbather Die\n(punk)\n\n3/28:\nCollin Pillow\nAlex Palagyi\nGus Crane\n(local singer/songwriter showcase)

SUMMARY:"Collusion" Collage and Video Art Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Open 12-5pm Saturday with “Collusion” a two-person show in the Punch Gallery and a live performance on the Punch Stage 3-5pm.\n\n“Collusion” showcases the collage and video works of artists Ade Hanft and Duane Toops. This two-person exhibition presents both analogue\, hand-made collages as well as video-based works\, some of which are the results of collaborative efforts between the two artists. For Hanft and Toops\, beauty is hiding in plain sight waiting to be discovered. By embracing lo-fi techniques and non-traditional methods\, they find inventive ways to remix old ideas in new ways.\n\nAde Hanft is Colorado-based experimental artist known for his looping animations that are printed on receipts. His Instagram account (@ade3) tends to show the meticulous process of his work. Ade uses timelapse techniques to condense hours of work down to seconds. His non-traditional methods have led him to invent thermal printmaking techniques\, one-of-a-kind cameras\, and novel approaches to animation.\n\nInstagram: @ade3\n\nDuane Toops is a collage maker in Melbourne\, Florida. Through the medium of collage\, he attempts to examine the fragments\, fractals\, and facets of the human experience; joy and sorrow\, presence and absence\, memory and longing\, selfhood and identity\, hope and despair\, with the aim of discovering the ways in which they all connect and cohere.\n\nWebsite: duane-toops-shop.fourthwall.com\nInstagram: @duanetoops\n\nNot to mention\, we’ve got beverages and snacks in the Punch Snack Bar.
