DESCRIPTION:Through creativity hands on learning\, the aim of this program is to enjoy fellowship\, support personal growth\, and make space for all to explore and expand their crafting skills\, no matter what the experience level. \nA craft host will lead a specific class on the 1st Thursday of each month. Crafting will continue weekly every Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Bring the project introduced in class or a new one. All are welcome any Thursday whether you attended the 1st Thursday craft class or not. \nIf you have supplies to contribute\, please bring them. Otherwise supplies will be provided for classes. \n1st Thursday Craft Club 2025 Class Schedule: \n6/5 Quilling – An art that involves the use of paper strips rolled and glued to create decorative designs. \n7/3 Watercolor Painting – Learn to layer and create beautiful cards or a picture. \n8/7 Rock Painting – A fun and creative way to transform ordinary stones into beautiful pieces of art. \n9/4 Scrapbooking: Cards\, photos – A beautiful way to make cards or preserve memories. DESCRIPTION:Through creativity hands on learning\, the aim of this program is to enjoy fellowship\, support personal growth\, and make space for all to explore and expand their crafting skills\, no matter what the experience level. \nA craft host will lead a specific class on the 1st Thursday of each month. Crafting will continue weekly every Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Bring the project introduced in class or a new one. Dr. Williams will share strategies for harnessing self-knowledge to intentionally shape our aging journey. \nThis free introductory session kicks off a series of workshops continuing Fridays at the Center where Dr. Williams will guide us through creating our own personalized blueprint for authentic living and aging. The interactive exercises will help us create our unique path forward for health\, purpose\, life legacy and to imagine positive aging experiences. \n“This workshop series empowers participants to actively design their aging journey rather than simply letting it happen\,” says Dr. Williams\, whose lifelong commitment to education and service has led her to explore aging as a time of both change and opportunity. \nParticipants will: \n\nCreate a personalized plan for health\, purpose\, and positive aging\nDiscover their own wisdom\, gifts\, and life legacy\nReturn to joy during challenging times\nApply self-knowledge in practical\, everyday situations\n\nThis introduction is free and open to all through a generous grant from Kittitas County.
