Frankly Favorite Fall Viewing Places!

The best part about fall colors? They are really taking off this week in Upper County, so get outside, take a walk or take a drive. I start in my neighborhood first, then usually hike the Coal Mines Trail. Driving, SR 903 start at Ronald then head to Salmon la Sac (don’t forget to swing by the Lake, heck, stop by all the lakes in the area.). Try the Teanaway. Drive the Canyon (Hwy 10) or anywhere along the Yakima River. Hwy 97, (Blewett Pass) is a longer trip but you’ll get to see tamarack and larch at higher elevations.
