DESCRIPTION:The Nature Conservancy and Kittitas Fire Adapted Communities Coalition will host a community prescribed fire update from 5:30-6:30pm. Thursday\, Oct. 1\, at the Roslyn Yard\, 104 W Pennsylvania Ave\, Roslyn. \nWe invite the community to come:\n• Learn about upcoming prescribed burns in Upper Kittitas County (short\npresentation at 6 p.m.)\n• Get information on how to prepare for wildfire and smoke\n• Connect with your local fire department and other wildfire resilience experts \nWe hope attendees walk away with a better understanding of prescribed fire activities this Fall\, how they can engage in wildfire risk-reduction efforts\, and whom to contact with questions.
