Behind the Screen: Understanding Online Predators (Gore Groups) is a presentation for community members, caregivers, and parents on Thursday, February 26, 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Walter Strom Middle School in Cle Elum. There will be a free dinner from 5:00-5:30 p.m. followed by the presentation from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Learn how online predators and violent “gore groups” target youth through social media, gaming, and messaging apps from Dr. Elianna Carr, CICA, CLEA Crime & Intelligence Analyst. She will share current trends, warning signs, and practical tools to help families recognize risks and protect their children online.
