What are the differences between the packages?

The Northern Kittitas County Tribune offers full obituaries (Traditional and Deluxe options), announcements of services, memorials and celebrations of life and brief death notices. See full descriptions in the comparision chart here.

The difference between the Traditional Obituary and the Deluxe Obituary is the size of the optional photo(s). The traditional photo is a regular 1 column wide (2″) size and the deluxe photo is 2 columns wide (4″). Both packages can accept your choice of 1 or 2 photos for an upgrade fee.

They also have the option to add a service emblem (i.e. military branch, police, fire fighter, etc.) for a minimal add-on fee. See emblem choices in the form.

Either of these packages let you say as much as you like, charged by the word, only limited by the size of a page in the newspaper. The Limited Death Notice has a maximum size of 250 characters (approx. 50 words), and does not include any photos, emblems or other enhancements.

What are the newspaper cutoff times?
