Kittitas County, WA – 03/16/2020 – The Superior Court Clerk’s Office is encouraging the use of technology and is providing expanded options.
The two major changes include a temporary suspension of the FAX filing fee, as well as increased options for attorneys for free electronic filing.

The Kittitas County Superior Court Clerk’s Office wants to ask attorneys to please use the FREE ELECTRONIC FILING feature as much as possible during the current health emergency.   This will include Case Type 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 & Court of Appeals matters.   Case type 5, 6 & 7 are still excluded from the electronic filing service.

If this is a new case initiation (or other pleading normally excluded from electronic filing) the Clerk’s Office is also suspending the FAX filing fees to further encourage technological options during the health emergency, and for which the electronic payment would be made at www.kittitasclerk.com.     The FAX # is (509) 962-7667.   Please include your cover sheet to ensure the correct number of pages are received.

If the pleading is required to be filed in original form only, mail may prove to be the best option.
