Drivers need to plan for added travel time next week on Interstate 90 near Cle Elum as contractor crews pave sections of the highway.

The Washington State Department of Transportation and contractor crews will be closing a lane in each direction of I-90 near Cle Elum at milepost 86 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8. The closures are so crews can pave the highway as part of the on-going work to repair the bridge decks across the Yakima River. This work is weather dependent and is subject to be rescheduled or canceled.

Single lane closures will also take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9 and Wednesday, Nov. 10 in the same location.
