The 42nd “The Runner Stumbles” will be held on Sunday July 5th. Starting at Suncadia’s Nelson Dairy Farm, this 5K walk and 5K/10K race rolls over tree-lined trails and alongside the Cle Elum River. It’s a fast course . . good for new runners, a nice walk, and those hoping to PR alike. There will be refreshments and a free race and raffle for kids. A fun event for both runners and their families! We’ll have trophies for the top 3 finishers of both distances, and age-group ribbons to award three places deep . . so, there’s a good chance of taking something home to remember the day by.
The Runner Stumbles is something of a throwback. Done completely by volunteers, with the proceeds benefitting local youth. This year we are again proud to be helping Cle Elum/Roslyn High School cross-country, which has really developed into a successful program . . Great young people on and off the course.
It will be a good day for a good cause. Hope to see you there!
