On Tuesday, May 13th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Cascade Prevention Coalition and Ellensburg Healthy Youth Coalition will host a Substance Use Prevention Key Leader Event at the Upper Kittitas County Senior Center in Cle Elum. This event will bring
together community leaders, educators, prevention specialists, law enforcement, and youth advocates to address current substance use trends and share prevention strategies.
Guest speakers include representatives from the DEA, Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), Kittitas County Recovery Community Organization (KCRCO), and local high school prevention club members. The event is free to attend
and a complimentary lunch will be provided.
Community involvement is essential to successful prevention efforts. When leaders and residents come together to prioritize youth well-being and safety, lasting change is possible. This event is an opportunity to collaborate, learn, and
take action to reduce substance use and promote healthy choices across Upper Kittitas County.
