Kittitas County, WA – 04/06/2020 – The Kittitas County COVID-19 Incident Management Team has a “dashboard” just for Kittitas County data. The Kittitas County Community Impact Dashboard is available to the public for the most up-to-date local COVID-19 data. We encourage the public to use this site for the most recent and vetted Kittitas County information. At www.co.kittitas.wa.us, go to the “Incident Response Information” under hot topics, and then select the blue highlighted Kittitas County Impact Dashboard link.
The dashboard information includes Kittitas County’s COVID-19 confirmed cases, pending cases, days left to shelter in place, et cetera.  Information is collected from our local healthcare providers every morning and information is updated by noon, every day, between Monday and Friday onto the dashboard.  (On the weekends, the only information that is updated will be confirmed cases.)

The dashboard is intended to give broader information about the current situation in Kittitas County.  “Many people have voiced concern about COVID-19 data, specifically about our confirmed cases,” states Health Officer Dr. Mark Larson.  “We want people to understand that the number of confirmed cases does not mean our county is safe from COVID-19.  Like any other disease, we assume the actual number of individuals with COVID-19 is higher than the known, lab-tested number.”

Kittitas County will continue to coordinate with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) regarding COVID-19 data; however, we are asking that the public use the dashboard for the most accurate and up-to-date number of confirmed cases in Kittitas County.

If you have questions about COVID-19 data, you can call the Emergency Operation Center at 509-933-8315 or 509-933-8305.  If you have concerns about your health, please contact your healthcare provider or you can call the Temporary COVID Clinic at KVH at 509-933-8850. Please watch our county website along with our social media for more information at www.co.kittitas.wa.us or Facebook.
