Kittitas County continues to have low numbers of COVID-19 in our county. For the third day in a row during Phase 2, there are no new cases. To date, we have 14 active cases (88 positive cases total with 74 of those recovered). Please continue to follow Phase 2 guidelines.
The Kittitas County Incident Management Team (IMT) wants residents to be safe. We also want everyone to get to Phase 3 so that additional businesses can open and additional restrictions may be released. As our numbers continue to stay low, we can pursue our goal of applying for Phase 3 as soon as possible (June 17, 2020).
Questions and concerns about Phase 2 restrictions can be addressed at https://coronavirus.wa.gov/. Questions for Health Officer Dr. Mark Larson may be addressed at the Kittitas County incident website for his Q and A on YouTube.
