From the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners:

Kittitas County is Open to the Public at this Time

Kittitas County, WA03/16/2020 – With the recent closures of public schools, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners (BOCC) wants to assure residents that the Kittitas County Departments and Offices will be open to the public. Our priority is to the safety of our customers and our employees while maintaining business operations for county government during the COVID-19 pandemic and we ask the public to assist us in maintaining safety precautions.

In order to maintain the highest level of safety, please do not enter the courthouse if you are symptomatic with flu like symptoms.  These symptoms include: fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, muscle/body aches, headaches, fatigue, vomiting and/or diarrhea.

If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please contact the office or department you require assistance from directly.  County departments and offices are prepared to field phone calls from people who are experiencing illness in order to keep our courthouse safe while providing customer service.

“Kittitas County government departments and offices will remain open to the public at this time and we will do our best to accommodate those who are feeling ill via the phone” states Commissioner Wachsmith.  “We are working closely with the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD) and will do our best to continue to interact with the public.”

For information on the department or office you need to contact if you are sick, please visit www.co.kittitas.wa.us for contact information.
