Public Service Announcement – 07/22/2015 – The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and the Fire Marshal are requesting the public’s help in stopping arson fires.
Kittitas County has recently been hit with several arson fires in various parts of the county. There have also been similar fires in some of our neighboring jurisdictions. The sheriff’s office is asking county citizens to call 911 if they see someone trespassing on property or see something unusual in your neighborhood. “This is going to be a community effort. By working together, law enforcement and county citizens can prevent deadly fires and put an end to arson.” If anyone has any information pertaining to fires within the past two months, please contact the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office at 509-925-8534.
