1.31.13 From John Simon, USFS, Today I went out from Mineral Springs to Blue, Redtop, Dicky, Jack then back. The route was in good shape but I also wanted to see if any trees came down with the wind, there were no trees on the route. However, the snow in lower elevations (4500’ and below) springs were bare, small streams were running, tree wells were bare to the ground, ditches were showing. So watch yourselves when you go out, there may be rocks and stumps that you may hit or ditches that give out.
