About Rodeo City Roller Derby
Rodeo City Roller Derby (RCR), formerly Rodeo City Rollergirls, was formed in September 2010, and is the original amateur flat track roller derby league in Central Washington. Roller derby is a full contact, aggressive, competitive sport played on quad skates.
Today RCR has over 50 members including skaters, referees and non-skating officials. Recruitment for skaters and volunteers is ongoing.
As a registered 501c3 non profit, RCR is committed to fostering community, sportsmanship, and athleticism by providing positive athletic role models and instilling a sense of sisterhood, loyalty, hard work and competitiveness among skaters and the organization.
RCR is proud to be a member of WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association), and previously held a hard-earned international ranking through the association. The team is currently hard at work, determined to regain that status through persistent effort and strategic training.
