WASHINGTON- Humanities Washington is continuing to accept applications for CARES Act Humanities Relief Grants. These grants support Washington State nonprofit cultural organizations that provide humanities programming, and that are facing financial hardship due to COVID-19.

Up to $5,000 per grant is available for either general operating or specific projects, and no matching is required. We estimate the application process will take less than 30 minutes to complete. The deadline to apply is May 31.

Note that if you have already applied and have not yet received a decision, your application has not been rejected and will still be considered. You do not need to take any action at this time.

The grants are funded by the CARES Act via the National Endowment for the Humanities. Questions? View our relief fund webpage or email us atgrants@humanities.org.
