Roslyn, WA- Skye Osiadacz, City of Roslyn Fire Chief, June 26, 2014 announced that City of Roslyn will implement and enforce the burn ban effective June at 12:00 a.m.
The burn ban is implemented based on the following criteria;
- low moisture content of 1,000 hour fuels
- weather conditions and patterns
- topography and
- fuel types within the affected areas
It has become apparent that with the fuel moisture content currently seen in our region, the relative humidity and the projected weather patterns, that a burn ban is necessary.
