Arrowhead Point is a 6.5 acre expansion of Saint Edward Park and is one of our region’s greatest nature walks.
We’ll hike (roughly 3 miles, round-trip) to the park’s latest addition and savor its old forest, quiet streams and natural shoreline. We’ll talk about the surprising variety of animals – including bobcat, flying squirrel and river otter – that use the site. We’ll meet an uncommon (though native) tree species that provides food and homes for many wild animals. And we’ll learn how much patience, persistence and collaboration are needed to protect nature in a popular suburban area.
Open to the public, all ages are welcome, Pre-Registration required
