Join us for Summer Saturdays, a Forterra Nature Discovery program.

Starting this June, we’ll dig deep into rich wetlands, forest or savanna and discover the diversity and interdependence of plants and wildlife through what we
see and hear.

These three free walking tours will be led by Gary Mozel, an interpretive planner and naturalist.

Gary has been a naturalist for over 50 years and has worked for the Washington State Parks, the National Park Service, various Audubon Societies, Smithsonian
Associates and Woodland Park Zoo. He has led nature walks, and tours in such far-flung places as the Olympic Mountains, coastal Alaska, eastern Oregon, tropical Australia and southern Kenya.

More than just a walk in the woods, Gary will unveil nature’s hidden inhabitants by showing us what to hear and look for. Which of the hundreds of birds are
year-round residents and who is just passing through.
Come learn what is special about each of the landscapes that are under Forterra’s care and the story of how they became
protected for everyone to enjoy. Bring your camera, binoculars, friends and families!
