Roslyn Clean-Up

May 4 - May 5

Roslyn Citizens wildfire Committee is offering a dumpster to finish clean up in your area and provide more defensible space on your property. What a great time to get rid of pine needles and other debris that won’t work in the chipper.

A few rules to use this dumpster! NO BATTERIES OR AUTO PARTS, NO TIRES, NO DRUMS, LIQUIDS OR CHEMICALS, NO APPLIANCES OR ELECTRONICS, NO HAZARDOUS WASTE, NO ABESTOS, NO CONSTRUCTION/JOBSITE (like but not limited to concrete, bricks, and demo materials)DEBRIS. If the dumpster is getting full-please do not fill over the top to the dumpster – we need to ensure it will shut so it can be hauled away. If you are unsure about what you can throw away, check out NOT ALLOWED IN DUMPSTER

Hard work in the community is evident in the numerous piles of debris that materialized and that magically disappeared to leave a space unfriendly to wildfire. Good Job citizens!

The dumpster will be behind the Fire House at 203 1st Street, Roslyn. It will be available Saturday, May 4th and Sunday May 5th.

The intent is to clean up Roslyn to reduce our wildfire risk! Please help ensure this free resource can be utilized again by the following the guidelines and respecting the rules.
