In celebration of Worldwide Labyrinth Day, the Community Labyrinth Project hosts a unity event on Saturday May 4 from 12:30 – 4 PM. This year, the celebration will be in the upper county as part of the Community Wellness Fair* at the Centennial Center, 719 E 3rd St, Cle Elum.

Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and a celebration of the labyrinth experience. It promotes peace and harmony within the self and between neighbors and nations. As usual, singing and drumming will be part of the event here in Kittitas County. Opening ceremony begins at 12:45 followed by a moment of silence at 1 PM in the spirit of unity. The labyrinth will then be available for walks until 4 PM. A community song circle will be led by Coleen Renee. Everyone is welcome to this free community-wide event for all ages.
