Inslee announced a new 10-person limit on social gatherings for those counties in Phase 3 of reopening which takes effect on Monday, July 20. Those counties include:

Asotin, Columbia, Ferry, Garfield, Grays Harbor, Island, Kittitas, Lewis, Lincoln, Mason, Pacific, Pend Oreille, Skamania, Stevens, Thurston, Wahkiakum and Whitman

This new limit does not apply to businesses operating indoors or retail stores.

The Governor was joined by the Washington Secretary of Health John Wiesman who reported that we are seeing a significant surge in cases, especially among younger adults, and mostly due to gatherings and celebrations from the July 4 holiday weekend. Inslee indicated there could be further rollbacks if the situation doesn’t improve soon.

We encourage you to watch the full conference recorded earlier today at 2:30pm/PT on TVW.
