With regard to the closing of the Taco Bell in Cle Elum today, Thursday, May 14 2020: The Kittitas County Public Health Department reports that due to a COVID-19 exposure the store closed to deep clean.
A regional employee who visited the store tested positive. The case is not from Kittitas County. More information will be provided tomorrow.
At this writing Cle Elum Taco Bell management is following their corporate response plan. This is a developing story, and as details become available, we will follow up on them.
