Cle Elum Kiwanis president Neal Lyons announced Tuesday, June 30, his club would not sell personal fireworks at their booth in Cle Elum this year. He said though the club stands to lose upwards of $8,000 used for community projects, charities and scholarships – disbanding the operation was the right thing to do.
